Sir,
I draw your kind attention towards the discussion held by a delegation from this Association with you on 23rd October, 2009 when your goodself was kind enough to inform us that the demand for restructuring of the Amalgamated Clerical Cadre will be considered favourably and a proposal in this regard would be sent to the Govt. of India for its approval.
In this connection, we are of the opinion that since the restructuring does not involve any kind of additional financial implications or increase in the overall number of posts, it can very well be done by the A & N Administration itself. This will avoid unnecessary delay in the matter.
I would, therefore, request your goodself kindly to complete the process of restructuring at the earliest possible opportunity without sending it to the Govt. of India.
