A meeting of the employees of the Amalgamated Statistical Cade of the A & N Administration was held at Port Blair on 5th November, 2011 in which it was decided to form a Sub-Committee of the Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers' Association. The meeting unanimously elected Shri M.Kishore as Vice President, Shri Ch. Rama Murthy as Secretary, Shri Ch Chandrasekar as Joint Secretary, Shri Thulasidharan Pillai as Organising Secretary and Shri Saji Oommen as Treasurer of the newly formed Sib-Committee. Besides, 7 Executive Committee members were also elected to the Committee. The meeting adopted resolutions on various issues of the Statistical Cadre employees. Shri D.Ayyappan, General Secretary of the Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers' Association and Shri P.Banerjee, former President of the Association addressed the meeting. Shri T.Alvi presided the meeting.
