CIRCULAR

A meeting was held on 6th March, 2011 at Crusade House, Phoenix Bay, Port Blair to chalk out detailed programme for the successful conduct of the Annual Conference of the Association scheduled to be held on 16th and 17th April, 2011 at Port Blair. Com. S C Biswas, President, presided over the meeting. General Secretary made a brief reporting about the importance of the Annual Conference and the steps to be taken by the Association for the successful holding of the Conference. He has reported that the Kerela Samajam Auditorium has been booked for 16th and 17th April, 2011. Com S K Vyas, President, Confederation of Central Govt. Employees & Workers, New Delhi has agreed to attend the Conference.

After a brief discussion, a Reception Committee as mentioned below has been formed for the successful conduct of the Annual Conference:

1. Office Bearers and CEC Members

2. Secretaries and Vice Presidents of Branches / Sub-Committees at Port Blair/South Andaman.

3. Com S P Kalairajan, Circle Secretary, BSNL Employees Union, Port Blair.

4. Com Stephen Fernandez, Divisional Secretary, All India Postal Employees Union (Class III), Port Blair.

The meeting elected Com T.Harikrishna (Secretary, Rural Dev Sub-Committee) as Secretary of the Reception Committee.

The meeting authorized the Central Secretariat to nominate a suitable person as Chairman of the Reception Committee later on.

For the proper conduct of the Conference, the following sub-committees, under the Reception Committee, have also been formed:

Publicity Sub-Committee

Decoration Sub-Committee

Com R.Papa Rao - Convenor & other members

Food & Accommodation Committee

Com Malai Bhowmik - Convenor & other members

Cultural Programme Committee

Com Rekha Sharma - Convenor & other members

Finance Sub-Committee

Com Ashok Kumar Sharma - Convenor & other members

Com T S Sreekumar, Asst. Gen. Secretary will coordinate with the Reception Committee and other Committes.
