In support of the Parliament March on 23rd February 2011 at New Delhi, CITU & Non Gazetted Govt. Officers' Association , A& N Islands organised a day long Dharna at Tiranga Park, Port Blair from 09.00 am to 05.00 p.m. After the Dharna, a public meeting was organized at the same venue. Shri B.Chandrachoodan, Gen. Secty, CITU, Shri T.S.Sreekumar, Asst. Gen. Secty, NGOs' Association and Shri S.P.Kalairajan, BSNLEU etc., spoke on the occassion. Shri S.B.Chatterjee presided over the meeting. Similiar programmes were also organized at Diglipur and Rangat.
