A delegation of the
Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association, led by its General Secretary Shri T.S. Sreekumar
met the Secretary (Perl) A & N Administration Shri Rakesh Bali, IAS
today(8.2.2016) and discussed with
him issues related on the proposals for modifications in 7th
CPC recommendation to be submitted to
the Empowered Committee under the Chairmanship of the Cabinet Secretary, Govt.
of India. The delegation urged the Secretary
to process various proposals submitted by Non Gazetted Govt. Officers’
Association and various departments under
A & N Administration for improvement in recommendation of 7th
CPC. The delegation requested the
Secretary to forward the demands of the Association along with recommendations
and justifications within the deadline fixed by
Govt. of India viz. 1) Grant of House Rent Allowance at par with ‘Y’
Class cities throughout the islands 2) Hard area allowance for the entire A
& N islands 3) Revision of overtime allowance on the basis of actual basic
pay, and other demands related to up-gradation of pay of various categories of
employees.
The Secretary assured the
delegation of prompt action in the
matter and timely submission of the
proposals alongwith necessary recommendations.
Shri H.L. Prasad, President
and Shri Clement Stephen, Office Secretary are the other members of the
delegation.
