S. K. Vyas, the legendary leader of the Central Govt. employees and pensioners
died at about 8.20 pm on 13th February, 2015 at a Hospital in Jaipur.
He was admitted there a few days back after a massive heart attack. He was 85
years. His funeral took place at Jodhpur on 14th February, 2015.

S.K. Vyas was the Secretary General of the Confederation of Central Govt.
Employees and Workers, New Delhi since 1967 for more than four decades. Later he guided the Confederation
as its President and Patron. He lead the Central Govt. employees and workers in
innumerable struggles from the early 1960s till his death.
His
death is an irreparable loss to the entire Central Govt. employees, workers and
pensioners movement in the country.
The Non-Gazetted Government Officers’
Association, Andaman and Nicobar Islands express its heartfelt condolence on the death of Com. S.K. Vyas.
A condolence meeting will be held at Crusade House,
Phoenix Bay at 6 p.m on 18.02.2015.
