The Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association, Andaman and Nicobar Islands has expressed its gratitude to the Secretary (Education) and Director of Education and other concerned officials of the Directorate of Education for granting the financial upgradation under ACP Scheme to Post Graduate Teachers working under the Education Department. The Department has now issued orders granting financial upgradation to the above category of teachers. It was due to the relentless struggle and persuasion by the Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association that the ACP benefit has been granted to the Post Graduate Teachers. The Department had earlier kept pending the case due to mis-interpretation of the ACP order issued by the Govt. of India.
